DECIPHer IMPACT is a ‘not for profit’ company which aims to maximise the translation and impact of evidence-based public health improvement research and expertise. It does this by selling goods and services starting with the DECIPHer-ASSIST smoking prevention programme (formerly known as ASSIST).

Each year in England, an estimated 200,000 children and young people start smoking; and most adult smokers say they started smoking regularly before they turned 18.

If implemented throughout the UK, it is estimated that the ASSIST programme would prevent 20,000 young people taking up smoking each year.
